Process Of Getting Invisalign
During your initial consultation, we will discuss your orthodontic needs and determine if Invisalign treatment is the right fit for you. To create precise 3D digital images of your teeth, we will use a scanner such as the iTero® digital scanning system. From there, we will develop a detailed treatment plan outlining the specific adjustments your teeth will undergo and the expected duration of your treatment. You’ll also have the chance to see how your teeth will move and preview your future smile. The aligners you receive will be custom-made from Invisalign's exclusive SmartTrack® material, designed to be virtually invisible so that most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them while straightening your teeth. For optimal results, wear your Invisalign clear aligners for 20 to 22 hours each day, removing them only when eating, brushing, or flossing. As you transition to each set of aligners, your teeth will gradually and gently shift into their desired positions. We may recommend switching to a new set of aligners weekly and scheduling check-ups approximately every six weeks.
